You’re invited to take part in a hands-on community paint day led by acclaimed public artist Reginald C. Adams and his creative team on Saturday, August 2, from 10 AM to 12 PM. This special event is part of the HueMan Shelter Project, a citywide public art initiative supported by the Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge and the Midtown Management District.
The HueMan Shelter Project aims to reimagine the way we view homelessness, recovery, and the human condition through the power of public art. This mural, designed and co-created with members of the UpRise program at Career & Recovery Resources (CRR), will be permanently installed on the exterior walls of CRR, transforming the building into a vibrant symbol of hope, resilience, and collective healing.
