Join the community for the Grand Dedication Ceremony of the Absolute Equality: Unity Tunnel on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:11 AM at the Longhorn Dam Bridge underpass in East Austin. This special moment will celebrate the completion of the vibrant public artwork created with the voices, stories, and creativity of the Austin community.
The ceremony will officially unveil the Unity Tunnel as a new cultural landmark and gathering place, honoring the many residents, artists, students, and partners who helped bring the project to life. Guests will experience the murals, community handprints, and symbolic imagery that together form a living love letter to the people of Austin.
